Career Development Services implemented Handshake as a new tool to connect students to employers for jobs and internships . There are 12,905 students and 6,769 approved employers registered in Handshake . There are 91 on-campus employers along with off-campus employers that posted 15,263 job openings .

Admission ’ s ability to engage students and their families in a virtual environment while maintaining the warmer , charismatic elements . The virtual welcome introduces many faces , with unique experiences and voices , to prospective students . The approach complements the experience at the new Welcome Center , where touchscreen navigation connects families to ODU ’ s vibrant campus .
Financial Aid Got the Word Out
With enhanced technology tools and resources , students received advanced
financial aid notifications via email , text , postcard , and online portal announcements . Communications were sent to both new and continuing undergraduates . Additionally , students were able to view and complete required documentation using online forms with document uploading features , resulting in improved processing efficiencies and clearer , more personalized communications .
