Student Engagement & Enrollment Services is committed to helping every Monarch be successful at Old Dominion University . From the first point of contact through graduation and beyond , our division is dedicated to providing all students with experiences that will help them grow personally and develop the skills needed to pursue a successful career path .
Our division was founded on five essential pillars / tenets :
• Enrollment : We manage dynamic recruitment and retention practices that facilitate student success .
• Engagement : We offer multidimensional engagement opportunities aimed to cultivate a sense of belonging , positive social-emotional well-being , and leadership skills .
• Inclusion : We lead through evidenced-based , educative , and transformative diversity , equity , and inclusion programming and initiatives that support a vibrant and inclusive campus community .
• Learning : We design intentional student opportunities to promote learning through leadership , well-being , and experiential learning .
• Student Success : We provide a learning experience that promotes progression though graduation and prepares students for success in their personal , civic , and professional lives .
Student Engagement & Enrollment Services collaborates with partners across campus and is committed to a student-centered focus , champions diversity and inclusion , and works to remove barriers that impede our students ’ ability to progress and graduate .
The past few years have proven to be challenging for our team personally and professionally . However , in typical Student Engagement & Enrollment Services style , the team accepted the challenge and stepped up to ensure our Monarchs had the tools , resources , and services needed as we all navigated the unchartered territory . In this impact report , you will find featured some of the many accomplishments of the Student Engagement & Enrollment Services team over the past academic year .
