DAY 2: DISCOVER HANOI
Start your day by visiting two important sites of
Hanoi: President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum complex and the
Temple of Literature. After lunch, visit the Ethnology
Museum, then you’ll come to the Old Quarter in the
mid-afternoon - a place you must experience while in
Hanoi. Walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake, the symbols of the city.
Then head back to the hotel to refresh before heading out
for a cozy dinner at Lý Club.

Continue with your journey to Ninh Binh and visit Hoa Lu, the
ancient imperial capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th
centuries. Afternoon, board a sampan for a journey along
thewinding river lined with trees and Trang An’s limestone
mountains. Drive to your Eco lodge and spend leisure
time exploring the surroundings.

DAY 8: EXPLORE HOI AN
DAY 5: HA LONG - FLY TO HUE Banh Xeo - Vietnamese Pancake
Start the day with a calming Tai Chi session. The cruise
passes beautiful locations, and you get the chance to explore
Surprise Cave before having a buffet brunch on board.
Back at the dock you’ll transfer to Hanoi for your evening
flight to Hue. En route, stop at a traditional village to
enjoy the water puppet show by local artists.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hue.

In the morning, you will take a boat ride up the romantic
Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Then you’ll be
treated to some of Hue’s history. You’ll be taken to see King
Tu Duc’s Tomb of the Nguyen Dynasty and then on to see the
Imperial City – Vietnam’s former royal capital, which was
ruled by the Nguyen’s for 140 years.

DAY 9: METROPOLITAN CITY
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City and explore Vietnam’s largest city
in the afternoon. You will visit the
Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral - a
center of Catholicism in modern Vietnam and the
Saigon Post Office, a classic French colonial structure.
Enjoy a special dinner – a feast for the senses.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 10: MEKONG DELTA
This morning, explore the mighty Mekong
Delta, from the Vinh Long market to the brick kilns,
through the floating village. Lunch will be at a local
house.
In the afternoon, walk along the village to the local
workshopswhere you can see how to make rice paper,
coconut candy and popped rice. Come back to the
homestay and enjoy cooking with the owners. Enjoy
dinner and an overnight stay at the house.

Another journey on a rowing boat will take you deeper

DAY 12: HCM CITY DEPARTURE
The day is free at leisure in Ho Chi Minh City for some
last minute shopping before departure.

Head out to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass. Stop to admire
stunning views over Lang Co Beach. Enjoy lunch at a
restaurant by the river side. Spend the afternoon
walking the ancient streets of Hoi An, lined with Chinese
traders’ homes and wooden houses reincarnated as
restaurants, cafés, and outlets for local artists, craftsmen
and tailors.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, one of the most
stunning natural wonders of the world. On arrival, board a
traditional junk and head out into the Gulf of Tonkin
amongst the huge limestone outcrops and emerald waters.
You spend the rest of the day cruising the myriad of tiny
islands and many grottoes created by wind and the waves
over the centuries.
