Stages of adolescence

EARLY ADOLESCENCE

Some children are still focused on logic; others are able to combine logical and abstract thinking.Some early adolescents can't think ahead to consequences of their actions.

MIDDLE ADOLESCENCE

Greater perspective-taking ability can result in increased empathy and concern for others, and new interest in societal issues for many.

LATE ADOLESCENCE

EARLY ADOLESCENCE

Complex ensemble of endocrinal and morphological changes, Rapid anatomic - physiological maturation,Speedy body changes provoking unharmonious proportions.

MIDDLE ADOLESCENCE

Physiological maturation continues. Body slowly acquires adult proportions. Many youth achieve their full adult height.

LATE ADOLESCENCE

Physiological development generally complete. Height may continue to develop for a short time in males.
