As a kidnap and ransom consultant, tactical team
leader and international security expert with decades of
real world experience, I understand the changing global
environment and the necessity for improvising, adapting
and overcoming obstacles. Individuals, agencies and
government must deal with increasingly difficult hurdles
on a day-to-day basis to protect themselves, their families
and a nation.
To help our readers’ personal and business agendas
worldwide, Security and Tactical Advisor is vigilant,
competent, decisive and prepared. Our professional
staff strives to provide an entertaining informational
portal on firearms and your second amendment rights
while balancing the strong need to address key issues in
international, homeland and personal security, leadership,
and health and fitness.
The world has changed. Lessons we have learned
on the battlefront must now be applied to our homeland.
Just recently we bore witness to the senseless violence in
Nairobi at the Westgate Mall. Al-Shabaab, a branch of AlQaeda, planned and executed an attack on innocent men,
women and children in retaliation for the incursion of
Kenyan forces that took the port of Kismayo in September
2012. Transnational criminal organizations, such as the
cartels, have no boundaries. Their power and reach to
strike is seen all too often here in this land we call America.
Government and law enforcement can only provide
security to a limited degree. They are restricted in various
ways and thus we are faced with this ever-escalating
security problem. Compounding this issue of security
crisis, many Americans have taken a back seat from a
preparedness and defensive perspective and are sitting
back complacently with a false sense of security.
I believe it is time that “we the people” assist
our government by taking a more proactive stance.
Situational awareness is one way we can start to
achieve this objective. It can, and does, go a long way to
helping attain a tactical advantage both personally and
collectively.
Empowerment comes from knowledge.
Knowledge fosters confidence. Confidence stems from
education, training and rehearsal. These are sought in
dedication, drive, motivation, perseverance and desire.
So Security and Tactical Advisor takes its first
step forward in an effort to empower all of our readers
and subscribers to fortify their personal security and the
security of our great nation. It is with the same fervor
and perseverance that I protected and repatriated clients
around the globe that Security and Tactical Advisor now
serves you with Honor, Courage and Commitment.
