Building Fire Strategies We
can assist you in the design of
a fire strategy, which predicts
the performance of a building
in a fire and ensures that
protection levels are suitable
to protect escape routes –
including exit and staircase
capacities – and contain the
fire.
Fire Evacuation Planning
Using a building’s passive and
active fire safety measures, we
can design safe and effective
evacuation plans. We can also
carry out compartmentation
surveys – identifying safe
areas in cases where
evacuation is not considered
feasible or appropriate. This
facilitates planned progressive
horizontal evacuation.
Contingency Planning
We can provide contingency
cover in the event of, for
example, compromised
fire safety systems and/
or reduced or unavailable
regular resources. We also
offer a complete care package
to prioritise life-critical
components, provide a fire
watch for cover during fire
safety system repair, and
maintain a physical presence
to reassure service users.
