The Citadel is an interesting juxtaposition of architecture. From historical, to conventional; from modern, to post-modern, you'll find it all here at the Citadel in an interesting assortment. Centered around a circular trench with a canal outlet, you'll find amazing structures such as a redition of an egyptian temple, strewn with hiroglyphics and egyptian statues; an italian villa; ancient temples; and many different kinds of homes as well as a few shops. In addition, the zone features an amazing analog clock of some kind, complete with an animated gear system. I found surprises tucked behind every corner, including a horse breeding facility where you can purchase a variety of horses. Continue along the canal and you'll eventually come to a long shoreline park on the peninsula, complete with a pedestrian pathway for those romantic evening strolls along the beach. At the end you'll find an interesting lighthouse as well as a persian garden across the canal.
