. Dr . Dimitrios D . Piromalis is Associate Professor in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at the University of West Attica ( UNIWA ) in Athens , Greece . Former director of the research laboratory of Electronic Automation , Telematics and Cyber-Physical Systems ( EATCPS ) and recent member and founder of the research laboratory of Smart Technologie , Renewable Energy Sources and Quality ( STRESQ Lab ). His research interests include the design and development of electronic embedded systems in application areas such as autonomous vehicles , internet of things ( IoT ), and cyber-physical systems ( CPS ). He is the author of more than two hundred publications in international scientific research journals , conferences and book chapters with high impact and many citations . Also , he is the author of many books covering engineering subjects . In addition , prof . Piromalis has been collaborated with top multinational semiconductors industries as Field Application Engineer and Technical Consultant for the last twenty-five years . Prof . Piromalis has been the designer of many innovative electronic systems produced in the domestic and global markets . Also , Prof . Piromalis is responsible for several European and National research projects .

Capt . Ioannis Androulakis , is a former Hellenic Navy Captain with 25 years on active service , 5 of them as warship Commanding Officer and 9 years at Senior National Operational posts . One of his major achievements is that he was the Project Manager of the 2004 Olympic Games of Athens NAVY Security Plan and the related NAVY Operations Coordinator . He is an ISM / International Ships and Port Facilities Security ( ISPS ) Code Lead Auditor – ISO 9001 Internal Auditor – ISO 14001 – ISO 50001 – ISO 18001 - ISO 28007-1 – ILO / MLC 2006 Internal Inspector etc .), while he is a certified Master Mariner Class A ’ Unlimited , he is Risk Management Executive and Project Management Professional . Since his retirement ( 2012 ) he has been engaged in the Land and Maritime Security Industry and the Shipping sector as a Senior Manager . He is the founder and General Manager of MANIBUS OOD , a safety / security / disaster resilience and Maritime consulting company , and under this capacity he envisioned / suggested the concept , and significantly contributed in the proposal for funding of the eventually funded by the EU UnderSec project , having also the role of assistant Coordinator in the ongoing project .
