They did finish the season with two consecutive defeats, where they averaged an
anemic 15.5 points per game. However, with a month to
rest and game-plan, the Aggies should resemble the team
prior to those two games that never scored less than 41
points.
The Blue Devils have had a bend-but-don’t-break defensive
approach. However, that approach does not work well
against the Aggies. When they get momentum, they usually score.
Deciding factor of the game
In my opinion, the deciding factor of this game will be the mindset of the Aggies’ key
players. The general consensus is that Manziel and Evans will declare for the NFL draft
soon after this game.
Will the seniors and other draft-eligible players be looking to win this game or looking to
not get hurt? After watching several marquee players in the SEC go down with major
injuries over the past few weeks, it would be understandable.
Predictions
The Blue Devils are a very good football team, and the ACC has all the momentum in
this series. However, I expect Johnny Football to put on a show in what will likely be his
