Missouri is a team that went from being 5-7 their first SEC season to being 11-1 and winning the East this past season, but who thought that UK would be getting more four star guys than Missouri?
Now they do have a lot of potential in this class, despite the star rankings. Currently the class is led by four star OT Andy Bauer. On the offensive side of the ball though, the names that could be the most intriguing are four star WR Nate Brown and three star WR Darnell Green-Beckham. It’s obvious that Missouri wants to continue the trend of talented, tall wide receivers. If Darnell is anything like Dorial Green-Beckham, then Missouri could have found a great corps of receivers for the next few years.
Defensively the Tigers have big names to replace like Michael Sam, Dominique Ealy, and EJ Gaines, but Pinkel hasn’t brought in very many bodies at defensive end. The Tigers currently only have two DE recruits committed. Pinkel is doing a better job with the cornerbacks by bringing in four new corners to help reload the secondary.
Nate Brown has all the makings of being of a great Missouri wide out. He has the typical size we have seen from the Tigers in the recent years, and given that Missouri lost a few of their senior receivers from the previous season, there is room for Brown to get a ton of reps this season.
With only four offers, Kenya Dennis appears to be the most underrated player in this Missouri class. With Missouri losing E.J Gaines to the draft this year, and that Dennis has gotten experience at the JUCO level, he has the experience and skills to make a big impact during his Missouri career.
