Experts in Stainless Steel T urun Teräskaluste Oy became familiar with stainless steel as early as the 1960s. Operating in the immediate vicinity of Aker Yards’ Turku shipyard, Turun Teräskaluste Oy (also known as TUTEKA) has been a part of Finland’s shipbuilding cluster since the 1970s. The company’s handiwork can be found on more than a hundred vessels on the world’s seven seas. It also sells its products internationally and for ship repair and refurbishment projects. The company’s products range from small decorative mouldings to large-scale works of art, often combining stainless steel, glass and other elements that are well-known to TUTEKA. Other everyday products are stairs, banisters and various fixed or movable pieces of furniture.
