The story begins in 1987 when Messua Design Oy was
established as a design firm to support the success of
Messua Arvelin Oy with exhibition construction.
During the recent year the design firm has employed 8
persons and is one of the biggest in its class in Finland.
“I
n 2005 we realized that traditional booth and exhibition
construction is no longer sufficient to all of our customers”,
says Managing Director Eriikka Kalliokoski. Based on the wishes
from our customers we developed a new service concept in which
the customer can choose an adequate entity from our vast offering
that fulfills the customer needs. Messua Oy’s project management
can include everything from the traditional booth construction
to a complete turn-key delivery including e.g. customer events
organized either at the booth or outside the exhibition premises
as a evening event, travel and accommodation arrangements,
exhibition hosting, customer surveys at target markets, filing
for the export promotion subvention among other things”, adds
Eriikka Kalliokoski.
CHALLENGING TRADITIONAL PEERS
... and the results are convincing. Eriikka Kalliokoski is pleased to
say that Messua Oy has started servicing the healthcare and wellbeing sector as well as the maritime industry. “We have succeeded
in our project management service. After these successful projects
we have actively expanded our comprehensive services also into
other lines of business”, says Salla Paloneva, Sales Manager.
“Our clientele consists of enterprises of various sizes and
different cultures. The common factor is internationalization and
search for new markets. We recommend joint stalls to the smaller
companies. There the costs are completely transparent and we
can file for the export promotion subvention from the Finnish
Ministry of Trade and Industry.”

is the base for our booth design. In our discussions with the client, we will review the budget so that our eventual proposal is
prepared as cost effectively as possible. Fairs are among the most
important events influencing the image of the company because
the personal interaction is always present with the customers”,
