EXCITING POOL AREA PART OF REFURBISHMENT Enchantment of the Seas Will Gain a New Midsection E Awe-inspiring arches at the top of the ship support two suspension bridges that span more than 65 feet on either side of the Pool Deck below. The main pool area completed by Finnish turn-key supplier company NIT Naval Interior Team, will be expanded to include two pools, four whirlpools and an interactive Splash Deck for kids. The Splash Deck features 48 water jets, 16 of which are connected to an interactive touch pad system so kids can create fountain effects and spray each other to their hearts’ content. At night the Splash Deck will transform into a remarkable fountain with a fiber-optic light show. The Pool Deck just out over the ocean and features floor windows for an uncanny view of the ocean beneath. Also the main dining room, shopping area, casino, jogging track, fitness facility, day spa and art gallery are expanding and rejuvenating. Photo Aker Finnyards nchantment of the Seas® will gain a new 22.2 metre midsection, extending to a total length of 301.4 metres and the size 80,700 GT. The extension part of the vessel will be constructed in Aker Finnyards shipyards in Turku. It will travel by barge to Rotterdam Keppel Verolme shipyard where the construction work will be completed. The new midsection will add 141 staterooms as well as new indoor and outdoor public areas.There will also be an extensive refurbishment. In July 2005 an already spectacular ship will hit the water primed for new adventures. Enchantment of the Seas will offer finest accommodations, captivating entertainment and innovative activities.
