A famous Scottish writer and producer,
Steven Moffat, once said: “I do not want to
think that storiescometo an end, I want to feel
that they can go on forever.”
In our time, they do not only continue, but
also firmly enterinto aregular life. Stories from
the screen are so intertwined with the real world
that sometimes a person does not remember
- where exactly he was going through this
situation. However, now there exists a sharp
human need to live at the present moment. Due
to economic and political instability, people have
no confidence in the future, and to think of the
past, no longer makes sense. Therefore, everyone
wants to enjoy his life now and only now.
Whatever people see watching their favorite
movies and TV showstheybringintotheir real
world: they copy the behavior of the characters
they like, eat the same food, go through the
emotions displayed on the screen and follow
modern trendsset in the series. Heroes are
very important. They tell us something about
ourselves. The history books tell us the stories
of who we were but documents tell us about
who we are right now. The heroes tell about who
we want to be.
Naturally, if there is demand, then there
is an offer. Now the TV series market is quite
saturated with diverse content, and the quality of
this product is becoming higher and higher year
in and year out. Sometimes the quality of the
product is not dependent on how much spent
on production millions or only a few thousands.
In this issue we will tell about the wealth of
the TV series Universe and what is behind the
pretty pictures on television.
