Help Make the Magic Happen!
Big Top Chautauqua is a non-profit organization that does much to add to the quality of life in the Northwoods. Ticket sales
alone do not cover the costs of putting on a season. We depend on the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and sponsors to make
all that we do possible, including our original productions, free cultural programs and school matinées. Here are some of the
things people like you do to support Big Top’s mission:
1. Volunteer – Nearly 300 people volunteer each year, working at shows and giving other behind-the-scenes support.
2. Sponsor – Sponsors are listed for each event in this magazine. They provide needed funds to help cover the costs of putting on a
performance. Thank them and give them your business!
3. Donate – Gifts from more than 900 donors cover 25% or more of the budget each year. We wouldn’t exist without contributions.

4. Advertise – The advertisers you see in this magazine are friends of Big Top. They purchase ads and gain exposure for their
businesses while helping cover the cost of marketing materials. Please patronize their businesses.
5. Buy Merchandise – Buying something in the Big Top Gift Shop (at shows, or bigtop.org) not only gets you great swag, but the
revenue helps cover show and operating costs.
6. Raffle – When you buy raffle tickets at the tent, you get a chance to win great donated prizes and the proceeds support Big Top.
7. Big TAP ChautauquaFest – Ticket sales from this fantastic fall event support Big Top and Mt. Ashwabay. Enjoy beer, liquor, wine,
great food, and live music while benefiting two nonprofits that bring enormous benefits to the community!
8. Come to Shows! – Every ticket purchase helps to cover the costs of the season’s programs.
