Big Top is pleased to welcome two of the hippest Indie
songwriters to the tent in an acoustic double bill. The New
York Times says: “The literary-minded songwriter Josh Ritter…
recharges his music on his eighth studio album, Sermon on the
Rocks…Harking back to Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and
maybe a little Mark Knopfler, Mr. Ritter has always been a
slinger of serious ideas and high-flown imagery.” Brett Dennen
is a folk singer/songwriter and self-proclaimed “Wild Child.”
He’s also a social activist striving for equality and peace, topics
which find their way into his song lyrics along with themes of
vulnerability and forgiveness. With songs like “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” and “Sweet
Caroline,” Neil Diamond has sold over 100 million records
worldwide, and produced musical hits spanning five decades.
As a Tin Pan Alley song writer in the mid 60s, he penned songs
recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley to Deep Purple and,
of course, the Monkee’s classic, “I’m A Believer.” Join Matt,
Jeff, and Tommy Vee (nephew and sons of the legendary
Bobby Vee), for a celebration of this amazing music icon. After
performing to 23,000 fans at Joetown Rocks, this wonderful
show is making its way to the Big Top stage. African Acrobats International, Inc. has established the
ultimate African Circus showcasing the cradle of all cultures,
the ultimate source for all music, dance and ritual for all
humanity. The thought of this rich continent brings to mind at
once mysticism, magic and excitement. The African Acrobats
International, Inc. has something new to bring to American
audiences: the allure of the African Circus.
