∆Dance Alert

Strongly rooted in bluegrass, old-time and folk music,
Horseshoes & Hand Grenades took 3rd place at the Telluride
Bluegrass Festival's Band Competition in 2012 and has since
shared the stage with Trampled By Turtles, Railroad Earth,
Yonder Mountain String Band, and Marty Stuart. The Barefoot
Movement has become a Big Top favorite, returning for their
third time as the leaders of our annual Bluegrass Camp for Kids.
They were award winners at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival
in 2013 and the 2014 International Bluegrass Music Awards.
They draw on bluegrass, folk, acoustic rock and Americana
with impressive instrumentation and interweaving harmonies
converging old & new musical styles.

Join us for our 7th Annual vocal competition for local singers,
and one of our favor ite nights of the summer. Auditions are
held in mid-June where a core group of finalists are chosen to
work with vocal coaches to be ready for the live competition
at the Big Top. Those 13 years of age and under will compete
for the title of Jr. Idol while those 14 and up compete to become
the next Big Top Idol. Audience members vote and help to pick
the winners – fun for the whole family!

The Willis Clan is a family of 12 brothers and sisters from
Nashville, TN. It has been an exciting year for the clan with the
popularity their new reality show, "The Willis Family," along
with releasing their 3rd album, Heaven. They are currently
playing shows throughout the country and filming Season 2
of their television show. They became a household name after
receiving national attention as contestants on season nine of
"America's Got Talent." They have performed more than 60
times on The Grand Ole Opry stage alongside many of today's
hottest names in Country Music; they also have Irish music
and dancing roots.
