Ride the winds of time and have fun while you learn in this
classic "illuminated musical history" of Bayfield and the Island
Environs, with secrets of Red Cliff and Old LaPointe. Original
music and song-stories tell the tales while the Big Screen shines
with hundreds of then and now photos featuring Lighthouse
Keepers, Ojibway life, dreamers & schemers, town scenes,
Voyageurs, sailing, fishing, the big flood and more. Created
in 1985 by Warren Nelson and Betty Ferris (Nelson Ferris
Concert Company), "Riding the Wind" was the first show
performed on the Big Top Stage and is still a season highlight.

John Fullbright is one of the brightest young stars on the
musical horizon today. Hailing from Oklahoma, this brilliant
singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist has been compared
to the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Tom Waits, and
Steve Earle. Fullbright's career exploded over the past four
years with a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album
and appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and
the Today Show. The great songwriter, Jimmy Webb, who
penned hits for Glen Campbell and many other artists, says "I
have no doubt that in a very short time John Fullbright will be
a household name in American music."

∆Dance Alert We never know when joyous dancing or standing may break out. We try to make it fun for everyone.
If you are not a dancer and don’t want to be caught behind one, try choosing seats in the mid-center or back sections.
