He returns to Big Top to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the event that inspired his seminal song , “ Alice ’ s Restaurant Massacree .” “ I didn ’ t think I was gonna live long enough to have to learn ‘ Alice ’ s Restaurant ’ again ,” Arlo Guthrie said in a statement announcing the tour .
