Lake Superior Big TOp Chautauqua
Big Top Chautauqua was founded in 1986 with a mission of creating a sense of community and a connection to the life and history of the Chequamegon Bay area, the state of Wisconsin, and the Upper Midwest. We are a 501( c)( 3) not-for-profit charitable organization that boasts over 25 years of producing and presenting“ year-round cultural activities that are both entertaining and educational with emphasis on excellent performances that celebrate history and the environment.” We perform during the summer in a 900-seat all canvas tent at the base of Mt. Ashwabay just south of Bayfield. We also perform on tour throughout the region, and over the airwaves on Tent Show Radio.
