Phoebe Slee might be a student studying 'Makeup and Hair Design' in Southampton but she also comes under the catagory of blogger and youtuber. With almost 7000 subscribers and over 250,000 views Phoebe has definitely built up a big audience in the short two years she has been on Youtube filming videos on everything from beauty and fashion videos to more lifestyle videos such as vlogs, hauls and Q&A's.
We caught up with Phoebe for a chat about her wardrobe, inspiration and Youtube.
What first made you want to start a Youtube channel?
'I always had an interest in makeup and fashion from a really young age; I always cared about what I looked like. I came across Youtube one day after searching how to do certain eyeshadow looks and came across this whole array of Youtubers that did videos on fashion and beauty such as: Beauty Crush (Samantha Maria), Tanya Burr, Bubz Beauty and lots more."
Who was your first style icon?
"I never really looked up to any celebrities and their fashion but I look at fashion bloggers so much for inspiation. I guess I didn't really start taking inspiration until recently, but a couple of my favourites are Lizzy Hadfield, Cocobeautea (Hannah), Megan Ellaby, RopesofHolland (Lindsey) and SunbeamsJess."
What is your one wardrobe essential you can't live without?
"Plain basic tshirts, I live in them through every season. I love wearing them oversized with a pair of shorts in Summer and I love tucking them into jeans underneath a huge coat in winter. I love basics."
What is your go to outfit?
"A pair of trainers (white Nike Air Force 1's/New Balance are my favourite), over sized basic
