L
a settimana scorsa una delegazione
di amministratori ungheresi è stata
ospite di Cmare.
Si tratta dei responsabili del
XVI° distretto di Budapest, che hanno
ricambiato l’ospitalità offerta qualche
mese fa a delegati castellammaresi.
Nella elegante Sala del Cinquecentenario
il sindaco Nicolò Coppola ha fatto gli
onori di casa a Péter Kovàcs e al suo
seguito.
“E’ solo un primo passo” – ha detto il
sindaco. “Stiamo costruendo un rapporto
tra due realtà tanto lontane, ma non del
tutto. Stiamo seminando, e i frutti si
vedranno in futuro.”
Il signor Kovàcs, poi, ha elencato le
diverse ragioni che possono motivare
gli Ungheresi a venire in Sicilia.”Qui la
gente è molto gentile ed accogliente, i
nostri studenti amano la cultura italiana,
le offerte turistiche dei nostri due Paesi
sono complementari, (da noi ci sono
montagne e terme, qui c’è il mare),
e ricchi investitori sono interessati a
Cmare”
Quel che è sicuro è che in Ungheria
esiste una solida e seria tradizione di
turismo termale, che risale ai tempi degli
Asburgo. Per gli Ungheresi andare alle
terme è curare la salute, non fare un
massaggio in un beauty centre. Hanno
creato strutture termali eleganti ed aperte
a tutti. Perfino il famoso Hotel Gellert
a Budapest, la SPA a cinque stelle più
famosa con architettura art nouveau e
piscine d’epoca a due passi dal Danubio,
è quotidianamente frequentata da chi si
cura, oltre che da turisti.
Se Cmare riuscisse ad avere la
consulenza ungherese per far risorgere,
- o meglio sorgere! – le Terme
Segestane, sarebbe una fortuna. Se poi
alla competenza si affiancheranno gli
investimenti…

has been in Cmare.
The mayor Nicolò Coppola met Pèter
Kovàcs, head of 16 th District in Budapest
and his entourage.
“The twinning is just the first step”
Mr Coppola said. “ We are building a
relationship between two countries,
different but not so much. We are
sowing. In future we will see the fruits.”
Mister Kovàcs, instead, has listed the
Hungarian motivations to come to Sicily:
Sicilians are gentle and warm, Hungarian
students love Italian culture, Hungarian
tourism is complementary to Sicilian
one, rich investors should be interested
in Cmare”.
A matter is certain . In Hungary there is a
solid tradition of thermal tourism, since
Asburgo era.
Taking a thermal bath is daily habit for
Hungarian people. They have built spas
everywhere, also in other countries.
They take care of health with the spa.
Even at famous Hotel Gellert in Budapest
(5 stars) you can see ordinary people
using thermal pools, as well as tourists.
If Cmare will be able to get Hungarian
consulting about Terme Segestane,
it will be a big fortune. If, in addition,
investments will arrive…
