Dear Sea Country Senior & Community Center Participant,
The Senior Center staff misses you! We hope you are doing well and staying healthy! This At Home
Guide will provide you with information, connect you with resources, and keep you connected during this
unprecedented time. Our center may be closed, but staff is still available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-
5:00pm, by calling (949) 425-5151.

Wellness Checks
Social isolation can have a negative
impact on older adults' immunity and
mental health. We'll schedule a weekly
call with participants to check-in, provide
resources, answer questions, or give
ideas to pass the time while at home.
Please provide the name of the
participant, phone number, and preferred
day/time to be called each week. Please
call (949) 425-5151 to register yourself,
or someone you know!
Virtual Grief Support Group
Join us the first and third Tuesday of the month from
10:00am-11:00am. This is an informal group meeting to
talk about loss and to provide support and information on
coping with grief in this challenging time. Each session will
include introductions, a breathing and centering exercise,
then have time to discuss whatever is in your heart.

Virtual HICAP Appointments
Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program
(HICAP) provides free and objective information and
counseling about Medicare. Volunteer counselors can
help you understand your specific rights and health care
options. If you would like to schedule a telephone
appointment for the first or third Monday of the month
between 9:00am-12:00pm, please call (949) 425-5151.
Virtual Legal Aid Appointments
Community Legal Aid So Cal attorneys are providing legal
services over the telephone on the second Thursday of
the month between 9:00am-11:30am. A legal
representative is available to offer advice on issues
including government benefits, health, housing, consumer
problem, wills, elder abuse, and more.To request legal
assistance, persons 60 or older should call (949) 425-
5151.
