What is Zoom ?
How can i participate in a Zoom meeting ? Is registration required ? Yes , registration for programs that are offered through Zoom are required , to receive Meeting ID and pass code . For programs offered by the Senior Center , please call Sea Country Senior and Community Center at 949-425-5151 . If you are joining by phone ( audio )-Senior Center staff will provide you Zoom ' s meeting phone number and the meeting ID and pass code to join the meeting . If you are joining by computer or another electronic device ,- Senior Center will request your email address to send you an invitation via email with meeting link , meeting ID and pass code . TIP : Note the meeting ID and password on a separate piece of paper for easier access so you have it available when you are ready to log onto Zoom .
1 . At the start time of your meeting , click on the link in your invitation email to join the meeting . You may be instructed to download the Zoom application depending on the device you have .
2 . You may also join a meeting by going to join . zoom . us on any browser by entering the Meeting ID and password . 3 . Please note that you will not need to create an account in order to participate in a video conference .

What device do I need to join Zoom ?
You can join Zoom by calling in ( audio ) or by utilizing a smart phone , laptop , desktop , IPad , tablet , or other smart devices .
Day of the Meeting
To join by computer or other smart device such as an iPad ( or download the App )
To join by phone ( audio )
On your phone , dial Zoom ' s meeting phone number . Enter the Meeting ID number and password provided by senior center staff when prompted . If you have already joined the meeting via computer , you will have the option to enter your 2-digit participant ID to be associated with your computer . Press * 6 to mute and unmute .
Zoom Tips
Remember to be courteous and mute yourself when someone is speaking especially if there is background noise . Our goal is to create a safe and positive environment even if it ' s virtual so please abide by the center ' s General Policies and Code of Conduct during Zoom Meetings . If you are joining by video you may turn your video off , if you need to step away .
