Tax Assistance Program CANCELLED

The Sea Country Senior & Community Center , in partnership with AARP , typically provides free tax assistance to people who are age 60 and older . However , due to local / state and CDC guidelines we are unable to offer this service this year at the center . Staff is working diligently on providing some alternative facilities or programs to provide you with no-cost / low cost options for filing your taxes this year . The staff hopes to have a finalized list by January 8 , 2021 . The Aging Mastery Program ( AMP is a fun and engaging education and behavior change incentive program for aging well . The AMP core curriculum covers 10 topics . The classroom experience is a mix or didactic and interactive learning with an emphasis on peer-to-peer interaction . When they graduate from AMP , participants have set goals for positive actions in many aspects of their lives such as exercise , nutrition , finances , advance care planning , community engagement and healthy relationships .
