UC Master Gardeners of Orange County will give you the information you need to " start something " this weekend that you can harvest and eat throughout the cool season . Get tips for fitting more into smaller spaces and busy lifestyles .

FLU SHOT CLINIC & SENIOR RESOURCE FAIR

Typically , flu season occurs from fall to early spring and it ' s important to receive your flu shot early to prevent illness . The flu shot works because it prompts your immune system to help the body fight off the types of flu virus that are present in the vaccine . Vaccines will be administered on a first-come first-serve basis ( while supplies last ). The date is subject to change based on vaccine availability , so please confirm with the Center on October 26th by calling ( 949 ) 425-5151 . Registration is not required . Please note : We do not administer flu shots to individuals who are ill on the day of the vaccine , have Gillian Barre Syndrome , or are allergic to eggs .
