Hello , Sea Country !
My name is Kaori Garcia and I am honored to be your new Recreation Supervisor at Sea Country Senior and Community Center . I look forward to getting to know all of you through our programs , activities , and special events .
As I dive into this new role , I encourage each of you to also try something new ! Whether it be registering for a new class , meeting a new friend , or signing up for the fitness center , our friendly staff are here to help you .
Summertime is finally upon us and we invite you to join us at our Courtyard Concerts ! We kick off this year ’ s season with Elvis & Beyond on Friday , June 9 at 1:30pm . We have a total of three concerts this year for all of you to enjoy in our beautiful outdoor courtyard . Don ’ t miss out , be sure to get your tickets at the front desk today .
We also invite you to join us on Monday , August 21 , from 1-2pm for an ice cream treat and a small token of appreciation in honor of National Senior Citizens Day ! We love our seniors and appreciate all that you do !
And finally , don ’ t forget to mark your calendars for this year ’ s Sea Country Festival which will be held on Friday , August 25 through Sunday , August 27 off Dorine and El Lazo , in between the Chet Holifield Federal Building and the Laguna Design Center . More information will be available soon .
