Sea Country Senior and Community Center is helping the community recycle batteries . Please look for our recycling container in the lobby to drop off your old batteries . Smaller sized batteries only . Example : AAA , AA , C , D & 9Volt .

Come learn how to play Sudoku ! This class is geared towards those who have never played . Our instructor will teach you the rules of the game and the different methods of how to play Sudoku . Reservations are required . Instructor : Charlie Raddatz ( volunteer ) 7 / 7 & 7 / 14 l Thursdays l 11:00am-12:00pm
Wii is simple to learn with user-friendly controls . Wii Bowling requires basic arm motions that mimic actual movements of bowling . Seniors can play standing up or sitting down . No experience necessary ! Sign up at the front desk . 2nd Friday of the month from 10am-11:30am
Come to the front desk and sign up to enjoy an afternoon of independent water coloring painting in the Oak Room from 12:30pm-3:30pm . Please bring your own supplies ! Sign In and Drop-In / No instructor Fridays l 12:30pm-3:30pm

Sharps Mailback Disposal

For the safety of staff , residents must dispose of their syringes themselves . Staff will not dispose of syringes for residents .
ONLY EXCEPT : Syringes must be placed individually in the container Syringes should be placed with the needle pointing donwwards Do not fill past the fill limit line Sharp waste only ( Used Injector pens , syringes , lancets , etc .)
Please no large quantities ! Thank you !

Laguna Niguel Senior Citizens Committee

The City of Laguna Niguel Senior Citizens Committee was formally established to serve in an advisory role to the City Council and the Parks & Recreation Commission regarding matters pertaining to broader senior issues and operation of the Sea Country Senior and Community Center . The Committee promotes involvement of senior citizens in community affairs and provides input regarding a variety of programs for the benefit of seniors . The Committee consists of seven committee members each serving a two-year term , and two City Council Member Liaisons . The Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month , as needed , at 3:00pm at Sea Country Senior and Community Center .
