PAGE 20 Meet your trip guide, Linda! She is your escort on all Sea Country Trips. Linda has been doing the City of Laguna Niguel’s trips for many years. She has visited numerous locations all over Southern California. When Linda plans a trip, it is likely that she has been there once or twice so you can trust her experience. She will be the warm-hearted smile waiting to greet you at the bus and make sure your trip runs smoothly. Those who have taken trips with Linda are always impressed and enjoy her sense of humor and bright attitude. We hope you sign up for one of our trips and get the chance to meet our Linda! Remember to register early! Trip Registration 1. Read the Trip Procedures & Rules. 2. There are four ways to register: In-Person: Stop by the Sea Country Front Desk. Phone In: Call the Sea Country front desk at (949) 425- 5151 to pay with credit card only. Online:  Visit cityoflagunaniguel.org/registration  You will need to set up your account using a valid  e-mail address.  Please note: Non-refundable online convenience fees will apply.  Mail: Complete a registration form (located in the City recreation brochure) and mail it to Sea Country Center. Trip Procedures & Rules Please read before signing up. 1. No refunds/credits will be given unless the trip is can- celled by the City. Trip refunds will be issued only to individual(s) who have officially registered. Online service fees will not be refunded by the City. Refunds may take 4 to 6 weeks to process. 2. If a trip participant wishes to cancel, the procedures are as follows: a. Notify the Center of your intent to cancel. b. Make arrangements for someone to take your place, or call the Center to see if a waiting list is available. c. Notify the Center of your replacement’s name and phone number immediately. 3. All trip participants must be self-sufficient and capable of walking and climbing stairs without assistance from others. If unable to do so, a wheelchair and/or trip attendant will be required, provided by the participant. Please indicate at the time of registration that you will bring a wheelchair to ensure its space is accommodated. 4. Trip participants are encouraged to notify a family member/friend of his/her trip destination and bring emergency contacts and medical information on the day of the trip. 5. The completion of a Liability Release Form is required at the bus departure site prior to each trip. 6. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. 7. Due to liability concerns, all participants are required to depart and return on the excursion bus. Failure to follow this policy may result in restriction from future excursions. Plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before departure time. Bus Pick-up & Parking for City Trips is at the Ziggurat, Chet Holifield Federal Building. Sea Country Day Trip Parking Bus Pick-Up in the Parking Lot at the Ziggurat Building From Sea Country Senior Center  Turn right out of the parking lot entrance onto Yosemite St.  Turn left on Aliso Creek Road.  Cross La Paz Rd, then turn right at Dorine St., it is the next light.  Continue across El Lazo, into the Ziggurat parking lot.  Look for the Black & White signs that say ‘TRIP PARKING’.
