Thanks for the interview Ricardo!! We ' ve got a great line up with some great ideas! The fans will not be disappointed. If you like Flesh Consumed old material you will love this stuff. It definitely has that FC groove but insane tech and darkness.
2- How did you get the contract with UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS?, Do they con nue with them?, Why change Sevared Records label, by unique leader records? And how are things with the distribu on with Unique Leader Records? I ' ve wanted to be on Unique Leader since like 2000 or so. Once I got the opportunity to join the roster I took it. We are con nuing with ULR. Sevared is a great label! I have a couple other bands on Sevared. Flesh Consumed had 3 releases with Sevared already so it was me for a change but Barre is great and I will con nue working with in many different projects. Unique Leader has Prosthe c distro which is amazing distro.
3- What does the cover of " ECLIPTIC DIMENSIONS OF SUFFERING "? And how was the work of JON ZIG? And whose idea was it? It was my idea. I wanted a brutal version of Escher ' s pain ng“ Crazy Stairs” haha. I love working with Jon Zig, He ' s always been my favorite along with Seagrave.
4- Tell us about the album produc on, recording and mixing Eclip c DIMENSIONS OF SUFFERING? And how was the recording with Luc Lemay( Gorguts), Ma Way( Disgorge) and Erik Lindmark( Deeds of Flesh)?
We recorded at Castle Ul mate with Zack again. We ' ve done 3 albums with him, he is hands down one of the best.
Luc and Gorguts have been my idols since I was younger so it was amazing to hear his voice on the album. He is a really cool guy. Ma was the funnest. He came over and we just bullshi ed, ate pizza, talked about beavis and bu head, wings,, haha.. We con nue to work together in various projects.. Erik ' s vocals came out amazing! He recorded in his own studio.. All 3 vocalists are some of my favorite.
5-Tell us about your experience with DEEDS OF FLESH, how is being vocalist of this band?, How works DEEDS OF FLESH? And what happened which is the story of your departure? It was amazing being with Deeds Of Flesh, learning their songs and working on the album. They have been one of my favorites and I ' ve been friends with Mike for a long me so it was great to be part of that. Unfortunately Erik injured his arm and was having problems so he had to take over on Vocals but they s ll used my lyrics and have much respect for them!
6- Have you talked to any label to release material?, Did a tle? And new trakers? No we are staying with Unique Leader and have not come up with a tle yet.
7- How is a concert FLESH CONSUMED? Solid, it has to be solid and fucking heavy. Period.
8- How to see the American scene about CDs and bands?, And what do you think of Brutal Death Metal scene today? There are many great albums out right now!! Too many to name. The brutal death metal scene is very consistent. Since it ' s underground people s ll buy CDs and collect. The trend doesn ' t roll through so the fans don ' t really fluctuate.. I love being a fan and being a part of the brutal death metal underground.
9- What progress has the band musically?, Do you keep the same lineup? And are there any new musicians? I almost change the line-up every album. Haha. Hopefully this one s cks.. I am star ng to calm down and relax and these guys are
