Sharm El Sheikh is located on the southern tip of Egypt ’ s Sinai Peninsula . Its proximity to Europe , paired with inexpensive , regular flights from most major UK airports has long made it a favourite with British divers .

In the past I ’ ve dived the Red Sea via liveaboard and from a diver-centric luxury lodge . For this trip I ’ d be sampling Egyptian diving with a family-run dive centre , one with a strong BSAC background .
