The luxury Red Sea liveaboard that sets the standard
There are many liveaboards plying the Egyptian Red Sea , but what makes M / Y Sea Legend stand out from the crowd is the quality of the vessel itself , and the attention to detail through every aspect of the luxury liveaboard experience .
The M / Y Sea Legend is 42 metres long and steel-hulled , which makes her extremely stable for long overnight crossings . She is spacious , comfortable , and beautifully laid out , with a maximum capacity for 32 diving guests but limited to 28 for extra comfort . Two large speedboats fitted with tank racks and dive ladders make life easier for divers .
A full refurbishment to a very modern spec has lifted the M / Y Sea Legend to the next level . There are lots of little details that make the trip better for divers – use of a washing machine and tumble drier , cubbyholes with charging points and full rental equipment for recreational and technical divers .
On the dive deck level , you will find a spacious dining area with a drinks bar . The upper decks offers the comfortable salon / lounge area with a big TV , as well as 3 sundecks . Two of the sundecks are fitted with a bar and icemakers , and both offer shaded and sunny spaces to chill and relax between your dives . The M / Y Sea Legend is operated by two of the most-respected dive guides in Egypt – Dr Elke Bojanowski and Ahmed Fadel .
M / Y Sea Legend operates all of the popular Red Sea itineraries , including Brothers , Daedulus and Elphinstone , North and Safaga , North and Tiran , etc . The vessel embarks / disembarks in either the Sindbad Marina in Hurghada , or Port Ghalib , which means easy access to bars and restaurants on the final night . n
