Finally , Lanzarote has an underwater sculpture park , Museo Atlántico , with figures cast by artist , Jason deCaires Taylor . The park is located off south west Lanzarote in the bay of Las Colorados at a depth of around 12m , covering some 2,500 square metres with its installations , made of concrete with a neutral pH . In time they will succumb to storms and erosion , but they are already providing a stronghold for encrusting life , a process referred to the sculptor as a dialogue between humanity and nature .
