Where are you based?
Winsford is in the middle of Cheshire, within a few hours’ drive of some fabulous diving in North Wales, especially around Anglesey. The club is named after the former local government district and borough that included the town. Vale Royal SAC was formed in October 1981 by experienced diver John Addison, who is our president today.
Who are your members?
Our 31 active diving members range in age from 13 to 71, four are women and two are youth members. We offer social memberships for those who enjoy joining in on dive trips and events. Social members can also swim at the pool for a fee. Members come from a real cross-section of backgrounds and professions including a small

Branch activities at Vale Royal SAC are focused around the club’ s two boats. More than half of the members are trained in boat-handling and everyone works together to get regular diving in the sea off nearby north Wales.
