UKDIVING
Above : The compass jellyfish is quite common around the UK and I always take a few shots . Usually , I will photograph the bell , showing the radiating lines that give it its name . This one was rather different and was being tossed around in the swell , so I took this shot from underneath against the sky .
Right : Who can resist a seal ? They really add to any dive and I never tire of photographing them . This inquisitive pup , with the big whiskers , always brings a smile to my face .
Below : The blue shark trips out of Penzance with Charles Hood have always produced the goods . I ’ ve never had flat calm seas with bright sunlight , but I have a collection of images that I am happy with . My favourites would include those with surface reflection and I would normally avoid shots which include the boat . However , this one , more reportage shot , tells the story and brings back many happy memories ( ignoring the mal de mer ).
