Upside-down world

Photographer Sandra Stalker reveals a hidden aspect of Portland Marina, where she took this photograph while snorkelling under licence. The marina is the only place in her patch where IPSAC member Sandra has been able to find rosy feather stars, Antedon bifeda. The marine life in the image is growing on the underside of a pontoon; Sandra flipped the image, turning the seabed into an ersatz‘ sky’. Her photo was Highly Commended at the prestigious Sienna Creative Photo Awards.
