still huge gaps in our knowledge around the coast of Wales, and even larger gaps across the wider British coastline.
“ We want the film to help solve that – to serve as a beacon that draws in other anglers and divers who might not have heard much about this species, but could have their own logbooks and buried data that may help.”
Their other goal is to engage new people with the underwater world. considered a cold, gloomy place devoid of life or habitats worth protecting. We want the film to provide a widely accessible, exciting springboard to assist ocean ambassadors in the work they’ re doing.”
A public trailer is due for release in June this year, with screenings of the completed film planned for October and November. For now, Danny is calling for the support of fellow divers who may have crucial data stored away.“ We hope the diving community can see this film as a call to arms. When the time comes to launch our film’ s public trailer, we hope fellow British divers will help spread it to non-ocean-obsessed people online and in person within their communities and networks.” �
