Taking place on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March at the NAEC in Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Go Diving is the UK’ s only consumer dive show taking place this year. The weekend promises an interactive, family-friendly event celebrating the very best of scuba diving and dive travel, spread across more than 10,000m ² of exhibition space.
The Go Diving Show 2026 will have an impressive speaker line-up across four dedicated stages. Already confirmed for the weekend are underwater stunt performer Liz Parkinson, plus TV personalities Andy Torbet and Steve Backshall. New for 2026 will be commercial diver Chris Lemons, whose remarkable story of survival 90m down without his surface-supplied gas has been made into a movie, Last Breath.
Away from the stages, there’ s plenty to keep divers and non-divers alike entertained, including dive travel stands, a try-dive pool and virtual diving experiences for those who’ ve never tried scuba before. BSAC will be exhibiting, so be sure to stop by the stand and say hello to the team. The BSAC Awards will be presented on the UK Stage at 12:45 on Saturday, so make sure that’ s in your diary. BSAC will also be running a series of member workshops over the whole weekend.

BSAC is launching a new Boat Handling Instructor Workshop( BHIW), with the pilot event to be held in Portland, Dorset on 14-15 March.
Open to all BSAC Open Water Instructors who are also experienced Diver Coxswains, the new workshop aims to give members greater opportunity to become a Boat Handling Instructor. Once qualified, they will be able to teach BSAC’ s Boat Handling SDC within their own club.
Previously, suitably qualified members would need to assist on a course being run by an approved instructor, before being signed off as a Boat Handling Instructor. However, increasing demand has meant a backlog of members wanting to assist on a Boat Handling SDC. With the new BHIW, members now have more choice in the way they qualify as a Boat Handling Instructor.
Held over two days, the Boat Handling Instructor Workshop is an intensive course. It includes two classroom sessions, but the majority of the time will then be spent on the water. The practical water-based skill sessions include boat walkaround and familiarisation, sheltered water handling, open water handling, anchoring and diving, as well as learning how to instruct such skills.
To participate in the new Boat Handling Instructor Workshop, members need to be an Open Water Instructor and current BSAC member medically fit to dive, as well as a BSAC Diver Cox’ n with at least 20 logged boat handling hours.
Spaces are currently available on the pilot workshop in Portland on 14-15 March. For more information and to book your place, go to bsac. com / BHIW
Following the BHIW pilot, BSAC plans to roll the new workshop out across the regions.
