“ I got so much out of my trip ,” concludes Mae , “ You make spectacular dives that you know very few people have experienced and that gives you a real buzz of exploration . I came home knowing this is the type of diving I want to do . I loved the areas on land too , it is so wild with no people for miles and miles . Being away from humans in wild nature was especially enjoyable in 2020 .” The lure of Kinlochbervie ’ s extensive frontier of giant scenery is as clear as the water . But unlike many of Britain ’ s most spectacular dive spots , this is a place most of us can drive right to , no flights , no ferries , liveaboard weather windows or baggage restrictions . And as my trip revealed , there is even an excellent plan B if you get really unlucky with the weather . KLB is at the top of my 2021 list . �
