BSAC Election 2026
Voting open candidate
VOTING IN THE BSAC ELECTION 2026 IS now open, with the Vice-Chair and Honorary Secretary posts as well as three Ordinary Council Member positions available.
Voting opened on May 1 and will now run until the closing date of Wednesday, 10 June 2026 at 7pm for the election to Council and Monday 22 June at 7pm for the resolutions.

Diving Officers unite in North West
DIVING OFFICERS FROM ACROSS THE North West recently came together for a dedicated workshop and networking evening, hosted at Northern Diver’ s head office near Wigan.
Around 30 BSAC members attended the annual event, organised by North West Regional Coach Stephen Dorricott. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for Diving Officers( DOs) from local clubs
CVs, which members should read before voting.

All voting in the BSAC Election 2026 will be online unless members specifically registered for a postal vote. Members who have already registered for a paper vote should have now received their voting papers in the post.

BSAC’ s Head of Diving and Training, Sophie Heptonstall was also on hand during the evening, helping answer questions and providing updates on the latest developments across the club- ensuring attendees left informed and up to date.
Caroline Parry, Diving Officer with The Golden Lion Sub-Aqua Club based in Mold, Clwyd, who attended the event said it was a valuable experience.

The successful election candidates will take up their Council positions after the 72nd BSAC AGM on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 7pm.
Once again, the 2026 AGM will be held online, and all members are invited to attend. Details on how to pre-register to participate in the online AGM will also be available on the BSAC Election 2026 website provided by Civica.
