A Dynamic win for Erin
BSAC’ S GO DIVING SHOW RAFFLE winner recently tested out her prize during a club trip to Malta.
Warwick University SAC’ s Erin Blunt was delighted to receive a brand-new set of DYNAMICNORD regulators after entering the prize draw at the BSAC stand during the show back in March. And, with perfect timing, she jetted off to the Maltese archipelago just a few weeks later.
Now back from her club trip, the firstyear student said her new regulators were a real boost. Studying global sustainable development, Erin joined her BSAC university club last September. Already a qualified Sports Diver, Erin is currently working towards Dive Leader and says the DYNAMICNORD regulators will help her move towards twin-set diving.

the best of Malta and Gozo diving over nine days, Erin said she now has her sights on starting her instructor training in September. She will also be taking her new DYNAMICNORD regulators on a sixmonth student exchange programme to Melbourne, Australia next year.
“ Malta was my first proper international diving trip with a club, so I just felt so lucky and still not quite believing that this was my life,” she added.“ I’ m so grateful to BSAC and DYNAMICNORD for running this prize draw, especially as a student.”
Benefit of the Month
Navionics Navimaps
BSAC KIT PARTNER NAVIMAPS, the UK and Ireland distributor for Navionics and Garmin Navionics, has renewed its 15 % discount for club boats( Branch Officers) and 10 % off for other members.
The exclusive offer applies to all new chartplotter cards and also to anyone who wants to update existing chart cards, making it ideal for planning club boat dives.
Navionics’ electronic cartography database is the world’ s largest, encompassing oceans, seas and rivers. This content is available in most GPS chartplotters, as well as the popular Navionics Boating app.
Of particular interest to divers is the high-resolution Relief Shading found on Navionics Platinum + and Garmin Navionics Vision + charts. This new functionality combines colour and shadow to present an easy-to-interpret, clearer view of bottom structure rather than contour lines alone.
