BSAC members can take advantage of a new offer through BSAC Egypt allowing clubs , groups or individual members to book a luxury Red Sea liveaboard diving holiday at a great rate . M / Y Hero is a luxury steel-hulled vessel built in 2018 . The 12 spacious cabins can accommodate up to 24 guests : two cabins with double beds and the remaining cabins have twin beds . They are all equipped with air conditioning , fridge , and private bathroom with shower and toilet . BSAC Egypt is also offering BSAC clubs one free place for every five booked . Clubs can book all 24 spaces or any number they require . For a full boat , this means if 20 pay , four go free . You can also be supervised throughout the trip and have BSAC instructors on hand to support you , if required . This means any training can be delivered on board included in the price .
BSAC has two trips available to book on in 2023 :
■ 10-17 June Deep South looking for large marine life e . g . sharks , manta rays . Cost £ 850pp for groups of six and £ 1,150pp for individuals .
■ 9-16 December Safaga reefs , wrecks and caverns . Cost £ 745pp for groups of six and £ 890pp for individuals .
Other dates are available for club bookings on request , including 2024 dates and itineraries . Accommodation and full board are included in the package along with transfers to / from the Hurghada airport to the boat . Nitrox and marine park fees also included , as is beer and wine . Flights are the individual ’ s responsibility to arrange separately .

Submissions appeal for BSAC Incident Report

BSAC IS CALLING FOR DIVERS TO SUBMIT DETAILS OF ANY diving or snorkelling incident that occurred during 2022 for inclusion in the Annual Incident Report .
Compiled each year by BSAC , the report analyses UK diving incidents involving divers from all agencies and backgrounds , plus incidents worldwide that involve BSAC members . This data feeds into ongoing analysis and research to help keep diving safe and hopefully help other divers – in the UK and worldwide – to avoid a similar experience .

Reporting an incident can help to make diving safer for all . So , if you have been involved in or witnessed an incident – whether minor or more serious – please report it in confidence and help shape a safe future for diving .
Divers can report any incident via BSAC ’ s easy to-use online form at bsac . com / reportanincident
All reports submitted are treated in the strictest confidence and no personal identifying details are included . The latest Annual Incident Report will be published October / November 2023 .
