When was the club formed ?
We were initially a Sub Aqua Association ( SAA ) club , formed in 1976 , and we crossed over to BSAC in April 2006 .
What resources does the club have ?
Our people are our strength . We are fortunate in having eight instructors , a pool and the use of a local social club for lectures and social meetings ( when allowed ). We also have members who have space at their properties to keep all the club kit , and we build servicing costs into our club fees . On the kit side , we have a training AED , oxygen kits and resuscitation manikins . We also have training dive kit , including cylinders and weights for the use of trainees . We dive from two memberowned boats .
What kind of boats ?
Dave and Sarah Rees own Tom Ryan , a 5.6m RIB with a 100hp , four-stroke Mariner engine . This makes it light , fast and stable . Tom has been used within the club to enable members to carry out boat handling training . By ferrying small groups and maintaining social distancing , the club has been able to use Tom to carry out club trips on the Pembrokeshire coast , during the

Covid restrictions . The speed of the boat means that buddy pairs can carry out their surface interval on the shore while other pairs are taken out for the dive .
Then Mark Lewis owns Scavenger , a purpose-built dive platform that worked for over 40 years on the Isles of Scilly as a commercial and charter boat . Mark bought her in October 2019 as a recreational dive boat and moved her to her new home port of Milford Haven .

Who are your members ?
We have around 30 members ; about one-third are women . At present , we have two trainees , and seven Ocean Divers , 10
