A very Vobby Christmas
THE POPULAR VOBSTER SANTAS EVENT is returning on Sunday 14 December for its 18th year – BSAC divers are invited to don their Santa suits and get involved.
The mass Santa dive event has been held almost every year since 2007 and to-date, has raised over £ 55,000 for Help for Heroes and the RNLI. This year, organisers are aiming to add another £ 5,000 to their fundraising total, kickstarted by Vobster Quay’ s donation of £ 1,000 to each of the chosen charities.
The Vobster Santa event is open to divers of all levels, who need to dress in their best Santa outfits for the mass dive. Participants will also be encouraged to raise funds for the two adopted

Vobster Quay owner and event organiser Amy Stanton said the fundraiser was a great way to acknowledge the vital services that both the RNLI and Help for Heroes provide.

We want as many divers as possible to get involved on the 14 December so we’ ve opened it up to everyone – Vobster Quay members and non-members are all welcome!”
