This skillet cookie is the perfect combination of easy and impressive. You make it all and serve it right in the skillet. And it's perfect for customizing to your preference, or what you have on hand.
Ingredients
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ cups Flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup each semisweet, white, and milk chocolate chips, or any variety of chips you prefer. (for a total of around 2 cups chips, more or less...I always shoot for 'more')
Directions
Melt butter in skillet and remove from heat immediately.
Add sugars and combine.
Add vanilla and first 1 ½ cups of flour. Stir until mostly combined and mixture has cooled slightly.
Stir in eggs, remaining flour, baking soda and salt.
Gently stir in chips.
Pat mixture evenly into skillet.
Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
