away 3 years ago, and I now have all his works, which I am
proud of! u SB Do you keep a scrapbook? Vic: I don’t have a
scrapbook just lots of books and pieces of paper, it’s the scrap
without a book you might say. u SB Tell us about a favourite
project you’ve recently completed. Vic: A New Year 2013 print,
it’s a bit of light heartedness in the fact we are entering the
teenage years. Its typographic and religious with some of that
humour stuff thrown in. u SB What would be your dream job/
commission? Vic: I have to say all the jobs I do I get excited by,
from editorial to my biggest 90 metres. u SB Who are your art
heroes? Vic: I used to like Boris Vallejo, he illustrated fantasy
art. Vaughn Bode, he who drew the Cheech Wizard series from
the 70’s. Both nothing like what I do, but growing up, they had
an impact on how I drew at the time. u SB If you could visit
anywhere in the world, where would you go? Vic: Right now, to a
beach in Thailand for a massage and a cold beer. Other places - I
have been to a lot of places working on cruise ships, but I would
say South America.
