u SB What drew you to illustration? Rohan: I’ve always drawn,
I used to sell illustrations of dogs in bathrooms when I was
11, I guess it’s in my blood. u SB Do you have any formal
design training? Rohan: I studied printmaking and book
arts at Croydon College, but spent most of the time making
paintings in the studios of Kingston University. u SB Where
are you from originally? Rohan: I was born in Middlesborough
and grew up in Lincolnshire. u SB Where do you live now and
what drew you there? Rohan: I now live in London. There is
no where better to prove how hard you can work, and how
much you believe in yourself. u SB Who or What is your
biggest inspiration? Rohan: My family inspire me to succeed.
u SB How do you get your ideas? Rohan: My ideas grow from
a need to create beauty and balance. u SB Do you collect
anything? Rohan: I don’t collect anything, but I love books, and
never say no to something interesting. u SB What are your
interests outside of illustration? Rohan: I’ve been in a band for
twelve years, I love making music, there’s a great camaraderie
