Steinar: I enjoyed drawing from a very early age, started to paint in earnest at 6th Form College, from then on it was finding a way to be able to do it full time. u SB Do you have any formal design training? Steinar: I completed a degree in Interior Design at Kingston Polytechnic, London. u SB Where are you originally from? Steinar: Land of the Trolls, Norway. u SB Where do you live now? Steinar: Eastleigh, near Winchester, where my partner Lynne is Head of Art at Barton Peveril College. u SB How do you get your ideas? Steinar: There is a strange guy at the local market who sells them. u SB Do you collect anything? Steinar: Music – started with vinyl, cassettes, then CDs, some MP3s and now Spotify an online streaming provider. u SB Do you keep a scrapbook? Steinar: No, but I take a lot of photographs for reference and pleasure. u SB What are your interests outside of illustration? Steinar: Ghostly apparitions and psychic development, I have friends who are mediums. u SB Tell us about a favourite project you’ve recently completed.
