on them and the really good ones get coloured up. u SB What are
your interests outside of illustration? Tim: Music (just bought
a second hand accordion which I’m learning to play), travel and
cycling (just ridden the Trans-Pennine trail from Southport to
Hornsea, 211 miles in 4 days for cancer research UK). u SB Tell
us about a favourite project you’ve recently completed. Tim: A
really rewarding job for the Eden Project via Cliona O’Sullivan at
Story Worldwide. My Brief was to illustrate the various career
opportunities at the Eden Project targeted at 14 -19 year olds.
My illustrated characters appear on the homepage of Eden’s
new website. u SB What would be your dream commission?
Tim: I’d like to do album artwork and a music video for The
Whitest Boy Alive. u SB Who are your illustration heroes? Tim:
Charley Harper, Heath Robinson, Ryohei Yanagihara. u SB Have
you any hidden talents? Tim: I can say ‘You’re not cutting the
bread very well’ in four languages. u SB If you could travel back
in time which period would you visit and why? Tim: I wouldn’t
go far, probably late 1960’s for the music, I’d go to Woodstock.
