To make up for missing the Gala and SAGE Awards – the Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence – in 2020 , the Chamber hosted the Spring 2021 Gala and SAGE Awards in March .
The event was held at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center as a hybrid celebration with SAGE finalists and award sponsors joining us in person , while other guests enjoyed viewing parties from home via Zoom . The spring awards also introduced three new IMPACT awards which were added to honor and recognize the innovation our local businesses employed due to COVID-19 .
